After internal approvals, we move through several stages of research, developement, and testing with continuous analysis and discussion of results, improvements, and the critical paths toward a successful product launch.
We work with a network of surgical advisors, regulatory consultants, material and packaging experts, as well as manufacturing engineers to ensure that all technologies will be manufactured to the highest commercial standards.

VIMedRx looks for medical technology projects that are acheivable within a 1-4 year timeline. We want to develop products on a schedule where our team can see the goal from the starting point, use our resources in a disciplined manner, and provide a faster return on investment. Currently we are involved with ventures at various stages of development. These projects remain incubated within VIMedRx. Among these technologies are BravoSeal, LysoMesh, Dri-Sol, Bio-Filter, and Gastric Band. Other technologies have spun out from our incubator and are well on their way to clinical and commercial success.
BravoSeal is a novel arterial vascular closure system that is delivered through an existing procedural sheath that is easy to use, bio-absorbable, scalable in size (from 6fr-21fr), and cost effective.
LysoMesh is a protein coating for hernia mesh and other implants that aims to prevent Staphylococcus Aureus (SA) and Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus infection. (MRSA)
Dri-Sol is a sterile aerosol talc spray (hydrous magnesium silicate) for the prevention of complications that arise from post-operative seromas (a build-up of fluid near the surgery site). Studies show that Dri-Sol is an effective anti-seroma agent, and that infections, hospital days, and readmissions are reduced when Dri-Sol is used in procedures such as hernia repair, breast reconstruction and certain plastic surgeries.
Bio-Filter is a bio-absorbable vena cava filter design to minimize the risk of pulmonary embolism for patients who are likely to develop thrombosis or embolus.
Gastric Band is an improved, easy to use stomach band for weight loss that requires no post-operative adjustments
